We’ve all been in a situation where a client continues to get left behind in some of the more trending, topical discussions taking place across their market. As an agency partner, the first question is why? Yes, some may have more budget and resources, but more often than not it is because of consistent focus. And the answer can be found in the data.

One of the benefits of the Meltwater platform is that you can design your dashboard in a way that makes the connection between brands and topics. It starts with knowing what your brand wants to be connected with - can it be a prospective partner? M&A target? Vertical? Topical market discussions?  Through Meltwater you can pinpoint exactly where you’re competition is succeeding and begin the analysis phase. This allows you to make grounded recommendations based on data which will allow you to begin the engagement phase with those covering your competition. Being able to show how others are consistently staying focused on certain topics or companies will provide the insights you need to rally the larger group around a concerted effort to enter into the reporting taking place.

I have been working in the agency world for 25-years, always with a B2B tech focus. Being in small, mid-size and large global firms for nearly 20 of those years proved to me one thing - clients benefit when the more seasoned, successful practitioners are not only setting the strategy, but doing the work. It’s not that younger, junior talent can’t do it, but clients are spending a lot of money and need insights and counsel that will drive their business forward. That is why we founded Escalate PR. Myself and my team each rely deeply on data analysis and tools like Meltwater to find those pieces of information that are going to truly help our clients and provide the data that backs up our recommendations. Being able to show not only the where competition is showing up, but the how and why allows us to set strategies and provide the results that rise their profile and put them where they want and need to be.

Thanks for this, I wanted to clarify is this an application to be a Summit Speaker?

If so can you give us these details:

    2. Why this topic matters and what attendees will walk away with
    3. A short intro about you: your experience and why you’re the right person to lead this workshop

Thanks!
