Summit is two weeks away!! Your flights are booked, your hotel is confirmed, and your calendar is filling up with sessions, meetups, and networking moments. Meltwater Summit 2026 is almost here,  now it’s time to make sure you’re ready to show up feeling confident and comfortable! ✨

If you’re wondering what to wear or what to pack, here are a few tips to help you prepare:

Dress Smart (and Stay Comfortable)

The suggested dress code for Meltwater Summit is smart casual, polished, professional, and comfortable enough to keep up with two busy days of learning, networking, and exploring NYC.

Keep in mind:

  • Layers are your friend — room temperatures can vary throughout the venue
  • Comfortable shoes are highly recommended (you’ll be on the move!)
  • Choose outfits that help you feel confident and ready to connect

You’ll see everything from blazers paired with sneakers to polished denim and statement accessories — the goal is to feel like yourself while looking event-ready.

Pack Like a Pro

Along with your outfits, here are a few essentials you’ll be glad you brought:

  • Notebook or journal for capturing ideas and inspiration
  • Chargers for your laptop and phone
  • Light sweater or jacket for layering
  • Lip balm and hand lotion (conference air is real!)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Extra room in your bag for Summit swag and NYC finds

The mCommunity Lounge will be open throughout the event — a great place to recharge both your devices and yourself between sessions.

Check the Forecast Before You Pack

Early May in New York can vary, with mild spring temperatures during the day and cooler mornings or evenings. A light jacket or umbrella can be helpful, especially if you plan to explore the city before or after Summit sessions.

Prep for Great Conversations

Summit is all about learning from peers and sharing experiences. Consider thinking ahead about what you’d like to learn or discuss,  whether it’s how others are using Meltwater, approaches to measuring impact, or how teams are communicating about AI. Having a few conversation topics in mind can make networking feel more natural and productive.
