What is a mChampion? 

An mChampion is an active customer member who consistently:

  • Answer questions, start conversations, and support peers.
  • Recognized for consistent engagement and community spirit.
  • Earns exclusive rewards and recognition.

 

Program Goals

 

Our mChampion program is built on three core values:

    When you see a #FriendWithInsights identified as an mChampion, you know their expertise has been validated. They’ve completed mAcademy courses and regularly provide high-quality answers.

    We understand contributions may vary with professional and personal priorities. That’s why we value all forms of engagement—whether it’s answering questions, posting ideas, or presenting at events.

  • Gratitude
    Our community thrives because of you. mChampions aren’t just recognized when they earn the title—they’re celebrated for the impact they continue to make.

 

How to become a mChampion

 

Earn Points. Stay Consistent. Get Rewarded.

  • Maintain 125+ points per month in mCommunity for 6 months
  • No application required - your contributions speak for themselves
  • Rewards include exclusive swag and free Meltwater Summit tickets in NYC

 

How to Earn Points

 

mCommunity Activity Points: Other Activities that generate points:
  • Answer a Question - 25 Points
  • Indicate an Answer - 10 Points
  • Create a Post, Question, Idea - 25 points
  • Receive an Upvote - 5 Points
  • Reply to Post - 20 Points
  • Give an Upvote - 1 Point
  • Academy Course Completions  - 100 Points each
  • #ExpertsWithInsights - 500 points 

 

 

Rewards for our mChampions

 

As an mChampion, you’ll unlock:

 

For context 125 points is equal to =  Answering 4 questions

 

Maintaining & Extending Status

 

#FriendWithInsights are awarded mChampion status for a one year term upon meeting the requirements. mChampions are expected to remain engaged and actively contributing to mCommunity during their term. 


mChampions can extend their status for additional years by maintaining 100 points monthly during the term and become a Platinum mChampion member.

Hi @Maria Dehne - Great question!

In a nutshell, a "Release Course" is your fast-track guide to mastering our latest product updates. We roll these out twice a year and they're part of our bigger vision called "Everboarding." We are moving in this direction because we are investing heavily in our product roadmap and we needed a way to keep our customers up-to-date with all the new bells and whistles without missing a beat. Courses will only be around 10 minutes long and come with a LinkedIn and Community Badge (and of course points).

 

We made this a requirement to the mChampions program because we want you to be in the know about the latest and greatest. 

 

Here's what you can expect:

  1. Education on Point: We break down the key changes and tell you why they matter. No fluff, just the good stuff.

  2. Custom-Tailored Insights: We focus on what you actually need to know, and how these updates can drive your success.

  3. Hands-On Demos: We walk you through new features with practical how-tos. Picture it as a live demo but at your own pace.

  4. Get Cred: Once you complete the course, flaunt it! You'll earn LinkedIn and Community badges to showcase your newfound expertise.

We will launch this as part of the Winter (or Summer if you are in Australia) '23 Release Course coming in October.

I can’t say enough great things about this program and the opportunities that go along with being an mChampion. But being a more engaged member of mCommunity is where I believe the true benefits are. By diving deeper into the platform, you learn and grow your skills. That pays off in so many ways on the job and with your team!
