Unwanted Job ads in your mentions?

If your Explore results are showing a job listing sitting alongside your actual media coverage — here's a helpful tip to remove them.

Step 1: Set up your exclusion category

1. Click Explore in the left-hand navigation bar
2. Select the Custom Categories tab
3. Select the + button
4. Name your category (e.g. "Job Ads")
5. Enter your boolean code:

URL:"https://jobs.theshout.com.au/*". - make sure you use the website’s job ad URL

6. Toggle on Exclude matching results — this is what filters these mentions out rather than in
7. Click Save

Your new category will now show up in the Custom Categories dropdown.

Step 2: Add it to your search

1. Click Explore in the left-hand navigation bar
2. Open a search
3. Select the Custom Categories dropdown
4. Tick the box next to your "Job Ads" category
5. Click Search

Sorted — less noise in your mentions, more time on the coverage that actually counts.
