How to explore and filter the data in your dashboard:

 

 

There are two ways you can add filters to your Unified Dashboard: either on an individual widget or on the entire dashboard.

Filters Available

 

Main Filters

  • Source Type
  • Sentiment
  • Languages
  • Hashtag
  • Custom Categories

 

Mentions Origin

  • Author’s Gender

Adding, Editing, and Deleting Filters to an Individual Widget

 

Adding a Filter to a Widget

  1. Click Analyze in the left-hand navigation bar
  2. Open an existing dashboard or create a new one
  3. Click Edit in the top right-hand corner

 

 

  1. To add a filter to an individual widget
    • Navigate to the widget you want to add a filter to
    • Click the gear icon
    • Select Edit widget

       

    • The widget preview will pop up, click Add filter in the top left-hand corner
    • Select your filters
    • Click OK

 

Editing a Filter on a Widget

 

  1. To edit a filter on an individual widget
    • Navigate to the widget you want to edit
    • Click the gear icon
    • Select Edit widget
    • The preview-view will pop up, click the widget drop-down in the top left-hand corner
    • Click Edit
    • Adjust your filters
    • Click OK
    • Click OK

 

Deleting a Filter from a Widget

 

  1. To remove a filter from an individual widget
    • Navigate to the widget you want to remove a filter from
    • Click the gear icon
    • Select Edit widget

       

    • The preview-view will pop up, click the widget drop-down in the top left-hand corner
    • Click Remove

       

    • Click OK

Adding a Filter to Your Dashboard

 

  1. Click Analyze in the left-hand navigation bar
  2. Open an existing dashboard or create a new one
  3. Ensure you are in View Mode by clicking View in the top right-hand corner

 

 

  1. To add a filter to your entire dashboard
    • Select Add filter in the top toolbar

       

    • Select your filters
    • Click OK

 

Editing a Filter on Your Dashboard

 

  1. To edit a filter on your entire dashboard
    • Click the filter drop-down in the top toolbar
    • Select Edit
    • Adjust your filters
    • Click OK

 

Removing a Filter from Your Dashboard 

 

  1. To remove a filter from your entire dashboard
    • Click the filter drop-down in the top toolbar
    • Click Remove
