I love the idea of a unified dashboard, but not being able to just pull in tagged owned media doesn’t make any sense. I want to be able to make a combined dashboard that’s pulling earned media for a campaign and only see the posts I tagged related to that campaign. When will we be able to combine legacy analyze dashboard with the view you see when you create a cross channel dashboard in Engage> Measure and sort by tags?

Hi @NatSlo,

Great question — and I completely understand the goal of wanting to see campaign-specific Earned and Owned Media together in one place. Here’s how you can do that today:

To See Earned + Owned Media Together (Unified Dashboard in Analyze)

You can combine both in Analyze by selecting:

  • The Saved Search that’s monitoring your earned media (from Explore), AND

  • The Tag you’ve applied to your owned posts (for example, “Bird Academy”)

Step-by-step:

  1. Go to Analyze

  2. Click Create Unified Dashboard

  3. Select your preferred template (ex. Brand)

  4. When prompted to select inputs:

    • Choose your Saved Search (for earned media)

    • Also select the Tag used on your owned content (ex. “Bird Academy”)

  5. Click Next to name & generate the dashboard

This will populate the dashboard with:

  • Earned Media from your saved search

  • Owned Media tied to that specific tag

Once created, you can toggle between inputs in the top-left corner of the dashboard to filter views as needed.

📊 To See Owned Media Only (Cross-Channel in Measure)

If you only want to analyze performance metrics from your tagged owned posts (engagement, impressions, clicks, etc.):

  1. Go to Measure

  2. Select Create Social Dashboard

  3. Click Cross-Channel Overview

  4. Select the Owned Accounts where your tags exist

  5. Select Tags as your filter

  6. Choose the tag (ex. “Bird Academy”)

This will display tagged Owned Media metrics only. In the future, this will all live under Analyze.

Let us know if this helps!

Yes, I’ve tried that, all of my owned social media posts from the selected time period still show up.

Hi @NatSlo,

Thanks for testing that — that’s helpful to know.

If all owned posts from the selected time period are still appearing, it likely means the dashboard is pulling in Owned content from the Saved Search, not just from your Tag.

A couple things to check:

  1. When creating the Unified Dashboard in Analyze, make sure you are:
  • Selecting your Saved Search (for Earned media) and
  • Selecting your Tag (ex. “Bird Academy”) separately as its own input

  1. Confirm that the Saved Search you selected is not also pulling in Owned social content in Explore.

If the search is set to monitor your brand across all Source Types, it may include your owned social accounts — which would cause all owned posts to appear, not just the tagged ones.

If that’s the case, you can open the AI Search Assistant in Explore next to your search

Then ask:

“Exclude posts from social handles @X, @Y, and from the Facebook account XYZ.

The assistant will update your search to remove owned content. From here, you can hit Save or Copy and paste the generated boolean into the existing search and still select Save.
