I’m looking to a pull a report to show stakeholders are top stories from April 1st - Present and be able to weed out any irrelevant stories then export that to be apart of a presentation or in a word document. How can I do this and what kind of report would this best suit?

Hey @MorganManchester - great question! My fluency with pulling this info isn’t as good as my teammate @Cheyenne’s, so I turned to her for help with this. She actually was able to get some information by typing this query into the AI Search Assistant. Here is what the Search Assistant had to say:

To create a report of your top stories from April 1st to the present, we can start by running a boolean query to identify the relevant stories. Once we have the results, you can review them to weed out any irrelevant stories. After that, we can export the results to a CSV file, which you can then use to create a presentation or include in a Word document.

Here's how we can proceed:

  1. Define the Search Criteria: Please provide the keywords or topics you want to focus on for your top stories. This will help us create a boolean query to retrieve the relevant articles.
  2. Run the Search: I'll execute the search for the specified date range (April 1st to the present).
  3. Review and Refine: You can review the search results and let me know if there are any specific stories or types of content you want to exclude.
  4. Export the Results: Once you're satisfied with the results, I'll export them to a CSV file.

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed, starting with the search criteria you'd like to use.

From here, you can use the Assistant for each step. Your queries to the Assistant in that will look something like:

  1. I’m looking to a pull a report to show stakeholders our top stories from April 1, 2024 (**has to include the year, it won't pull anything otherwise) - Present. I will need to weed out any irrelevant stories, then export that to be a part of a presentation or in a word document.
  2. Use ____ as the criteria (refine as needed)
  3. Filter by criteria to only include hits that are in the top 20% of reach
  4. Export this data
