Learnings from Meltwater Summit!

Day 1 has been a blast!

My biggest learning so far:

The majority of AI citations are coming from individual LinkedIn profiles vs. official company pages. 40% are from established LI members (those with 10k+ followers). 35% are from everyday members (>10k followers).

Really has me thinking about how my own agency approaches AI Visibility and GEO… and the importance of being (and promoting) thought leadership within my company!

Thanks, @Maria Dehne. I was saying earlier today that you were missed at Summit! Hope one of these days we can meet IRL 🙌

That stat sparked a lot of conversation today 👀

It’s such an important shift because it changes the way brands think about visibility and authority in AI-generated answers. People are increasingly trusting people, not just corporate websites.

The agencies and brands that invest in employee advocacy, executive visibility, and authentic thought leadership are likely going to have a major advantage in GEO.

Curious, do you think this changes how your company will approach LinkedIn strategy or thought leadership programs moving forward?
