Meet Danny Gardner, Head of Social Media Insights & Analytics @ Haleon.
Danny Gardner is Haleon's Head of Social Media Insights and Analytics for North America. He previously held the same role at GSK, acquired from Pfizer as part of the $12B consumer healthcare joint venture between the two companies. He began his full-time career with W2O Group (now Real Chemistry), where he held cross-functional roles in data science, social listening, market research, and analytics.
At Haleon, Danny oversees over 25 owned brands and 70 competitor brands, across 7 categories. He also serves as the company’s global SME for all things social media, including insights, whitespace research, data analytics, 3P vendors, emerging media, Web3/Next Gen Social, market research, measurement, and general thought leadership.

What is Danny’s scope?
While his duties are constantly evolving, he regularly executes social listening, data analytics, and business intelligence reporting for the company’s leading consumer healthcare portfolio, including brands such as Advil pain relief, Sensodyne toothpaste and Centrum vitamins.
His team sits in the company’s Consumer Business Insights & Analytics (CBIA) department and reports up to the global CMO.
What topic will Danny discuss?
The theme he’ll focus on is social listening and analysis. As the social intelligence lead his goal is to bring the business closer to our consumers.
He will discuss how his team enables Haleon to make decisions faster using comprehensive social data, the right skill set, and the ability to execute.
