Education Roundtable: Communicating Value in an Era of Intense Scrutiny

About this event

In this month’s Education Roundtable, we’re discussing a challenge many institutions are navigating right now: how to clearly communicate institutional value in a time of increased scrutiny around cost, outcomes, and impact.

From questions about tuition and affordability to conversations about career readiness, research relevance, and community impact, education institutions are being asked to more clearly demonstrate their value to students, families, policymakers, and the public. Communicating these outcomes in a way that is transparent, credible, and aligned with institutional mission can be complex—especially as expectations continue to evolve. This discussion will focus on how education communicators are articulating value in ways that resonate with diverse audiences while maintaining trust and institutional integrity.

This session is not a webinar. It’s an open, peer-led conversation created for education communications, PR, marketing, and public affairs professionals who want a space to share experiences, compare approaches, and learn how peers are addressing similar pressures.

We’ll Discuss

  • How institutions are communicating outcomes such as career readiness, research impact, and student success
  • What messaging resonates most with prospective students, families, and stakeholders
  • How teams balance transparency with institutional positioning and reputation
  • What questions or concerns institutions are hearing more frequently from the public
  • How monitoring and insights help inform messaging and identify emerging perception challenges

This roundtable is part of Meltwater’s Industry Circles program—client-only spaces inside mCommunity where professionals in similar sectors connect, collaborate, and learn how others are using Meltwater to solve real-world challenges in their day-to-day roles.

This session has limited availability, and registration will close once all 35 seats have been filled.
