The topic I want to run a workshop on:
A hands-on workflow for turning Meltwater Explore insights into a clear, executive-ready narrative brief. We’ll use Mira to accelerate synthesis and sense-making, then apply a simple structure to translate that insight into what matters, what to do next, and how to say it in your brand voice.
Why this matters and what attendees will walk away with
Comms and marketing teams aren’t short on data, but we can get stuck in “reporting mode” and struggle to turn coverage and conversation into insights leaders can actually act on. This workshop helps attendees move from monitoring to meaning and action, quickly and confidently, without the output feeling generic or overly AI-written.
Attendees will leave with:
- A simple Insight-to-Action Brief template they can reuse for weekly updates, wrap reports, and planning
- A repeatable workflow: Explore signal ->Â Mira synthesis ->Â human judgement ->Â final narrative + next steps
- A set of prompt cues and quick voice checks to keep AI outputs from sounding generic or off-brand, including a custom prompt they can save in Mira
- Practical examples of how to turn one insight into recommended actions, risks, and opportunities (not just observations!)
This workshop is designed to be practical and interactive, not a feature walkthrough. Attendees will leave with a mini brief, and a downloadable brief template and prompt pack.
A short intro about me: my experience and why I’m the right person to lead this workshop
I’m Ally MacLellan, Head of AI Innovation & Technology at Proof Strategies, a North American communications agency. I help organizations harness AI to build trust, measure impact, and drive innovation in communications, bridging communications strategy, audience insights, and technology.
At Proof, I design and deliver AI-powered services and practical training for communications and marketing teams, including executive workshops focused on responsible AI adoption. I’ve delivered sessions across North America and regularly share pragmatic guidance through industry talks, media and podcast interviews, and posts on LinkedIn and within mCommunity!
I’ve also been a Meltwater customer for 8+ years, participate in Meltwater’s Customer Advisory Board, and co-created the AI Prompt Writing for Communication & Marketing Professionals mAcademy course. At Meltwater Summit 2025, I ran a live certification session for that course, which is why this workshop is intentionally designed to be practical, interactive, and immediately useful for Summit attendees.
