If a press release isn’t available, Copilot will prompt you to upload the content directly within the workflow.

 

 

Note: This feature does not support Copilot-only users as you will need platform access to add content.

 

 

  1. If you ask Copilot to create a PR impact report for a press release (e.g., “Create an impact report for this press release: [URL]”) and the content isn’t found, you’ll see the message:
    • “The URL [URL] could not be found in the system. Please check the URL or ensure the content is added to your Meltwater account before proceeding. Let me know if you need further assistance!”

 

 

  1. A box appears below prompting you to add the article. Known fields like title and description will be pre-filled. The publish date will default to today’s date — update this to the original publication date by clicking on the Calendar icon

 

 

 

  1. Click the checkbox next to I agree with the Terms and Conditions. By doing so, you confirm you have the legal rights to copy, modify, and distribute the content, and accept responsibility for any misuse.

 

 

  1. Click Save
  2. You’ll be asked to wait about 5 minutes while the content is added to Meltwater.

 

 

 

  1. After waiting, try your prompt again

 

📌 Pro tip: Add a date range to your prompt for best results.

 

  1. You’ll now receive a full PR impact report for that press release.
