We’re moving to a new and modern Newsletter experience!
Classic Meltwater Newsletters will soon be upgraded. To ensure your Newsletters continue sending as scheduled, you’ll need to complete a simple, one-time template upgrade.
How to Upgrade
- Select Newsletters in the left-hand navigation bar
- Click the banner at the bottom titled Classic Newsletter will retire soon. To access your classic Newsletter, click here.
- Select a Classic Newsletter
- Click Switch
- You’ve successfully created a template in the new version and will be redirected to a landing page with the URL “app.meltwater.com/a/newsletters/view-all”, that looks like this:
Note: If this wasn’t successful, you might have a feature that can’t be upgraded. It’s possible the migration didn’t complete if your Classic template used multi-column layouts, large image thumbnails, or an unsupported language. To find out if additional setup is required, please contact your Account Team. Learn more in the FAQs.
- When upgrading an automated Classic Newsletter, prevent duplicates by pausing the Classic automated newsletter. After migrating, a table list of previously sent Newsletters appears.
- Some final review is required. Click on a template with pink text Review needed
- On the right, under the Status heading, you’ll see the Newsletters are Ready for review
- Click the Newsletter
- Select Edit to customize the layout and select content. A detailed guide on customizing Newsletters can be found here.
- When it’s finished, click Approve
- Then select Resume
- On the right, under the Status heading, you’ll see the Newsletters are Ready for review
- If you upgraded a Manual Newsletter, clicking it opens the Newsletter
- Now that the template has been upgraded, you can use it again for any other migrating Newsletters. Click Save template
- To assign the same template for any other migrated Newsletters, after clicking Switch from the Classic table and Review from the new Newsletter landing page, the saved template appears in My templates
