Good afternoon everybody😀

Is it possible to view 18 months worth of data within the same search?

I’ve tried combing two separate searches but the following error message pops up “Sorry, using a date range more than 12 months is not yet supported. Please select a smaller date range.”

Would I have to open 2 separate Analyse widgets and place them alongside each other?

And if it’s currently not possible (see error message above) I’ll add it to Product Ideas list.

TIA

Al

Hi there,

Try downloading data from a date range such as 2022-01-01 to 2022-12-31.

Enter the second date range as 2023-01-01 to 2023-06-30 and click the Download button for downloading the remaining data.

We can obtain all of the data from meltwater in this manner.

I hope this tip is useful to you.

Regards,

Harish

Thanks Harish27 -- though I was hoping we could do this on the platform rather than Excel 😥

Hi @Al_S,

I’ve confirmed with our Product Support Leader @Beth.Kazlauskas that the maximum date range that can be examined at once is 1 year.

You can:

  1. Export the data as the answer suggested
  2. Create a custom dashboard with data from multiple date ranges in Analyze as the original post suggested
  3. Another option would be to use Explore - Compare and set different date ranges for the same search (Comparing Searches in Explore - Comparing different date ranges/Override date

You mention wishing to analyze 18 months. But for social content, data from the last rolling 15 months is available. For editorial content, data from 2009 onwards is available. In general though, if you would like to visualize date ranges over 1 year in a single view, that would require a feature request.
