The below should help answer any questions you have on the Beta.

What is the Beta Program about?

We’re making it easier to organize and access your saved streams in Monitor with the launch of  a new Landing Page in Monitor. This change will:

• Allow you to see all your saved streams at a glance

• Label favorites and pin them to the top for quick access

• Return to up to 6 streams without searching again

• Increase performance, giving the user less frustration with load times

• Ability to save one input with one stream is now available

The two main areas we are looking to test with this Beta include:

#1: Ease of Use: Do you find the new workflow more efficient and easier to use? Did you run into any difficulties or challenges with the new interface?

#2: Performance: Did you notice quicker load times upon entering your Monitor View?

What do I need to do as a Beta Tester?

Step 1: Test the New Landing Page (~15 min)

• Create multiple views from the landing page. These views need to be created from scratch and then saved. If you do not save, your views will not appear in the table view. (Saving is the new standard in Monitor)
• Save at least 2-3 views. “Pick up where you left off” views will now appear on the landing page. Notice that you can now access up to 6 of your “Pick up where you left off” views. Prior you could only view one.
• Notice favorited items will be pinned to the top of your saved monitors
• Sort columns or search in the table to quickly find your saved views.
• Bulk delete is available in the table

Step 2: Test the Monitor Views (~15 min)

• Click into your views from the new landing page
• Did you notice an increase in performance? (Page loading, etc.)
• Try returning to the landing page without saving by pushing the back button. A pop up will now let you know that you have not saved and if you navigate away, your view will not be accessible. Even “Pick up where you left off” views need to be saved.
• New toolbar look - updated to match the rest of MW apps and also increase intuitiveness.

How long will I be able to access the Beta?

Any interested Monitor users can sign up for early access to the New Monitor Landing Page starting 14 Feb 2025. Once activated, the Beta will continue to stay turned on until the official release. You may also request for the Beta to be turned off at any time. The official release is currently scheduled for the 24th of February, after which all current Monitor users will be upgraded to the new Monitor Landing Page.
