Creating a Newsfeed

 

To create a Newsfeed, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Content drop-down in the left-hand navigation bar

  2. Select Newsfeeds

  3. Select Create Newsfeed

  4. Give your Newsfeed a name

  5. Click the +Select input to add content from your Explore searches, RSS feeds, Added Content and Tags.

  6. Click Ok

  7. In Settings, configure the relevant details of the content to display in the Newsfeed.

    1. Two options are available for Posts:

      1. “Let me manually select articles to be included.”

        1. This option requires manually adding additional content via this page in the future.

      2. “Automatically include new articles”

        1. By applying this option, new content will be added to the feed automatically on an ongoing basis.

    2. You’ll also find a checkbox for including premium content. Learn more about Premium Content

  8. Remaining in the Settings section, select the maximum number of articles per Newsfeed, the timezone, and content display options.

    1. Show publisher info: The outlet or publication

    2. Show hit sentence: The text matching your search terms

    3. Show image: The thumbnail of the article

    4. Show avatar: The outlet's logo

  9. Press Done

  10. If you selected Let me manually select articles to be included in Step 7a, you can moderate your Newsfeed or remove articles

    1. Click + to add articles

  11. Click Save in the top right-hand corner. Two options will appear

  12. Select Copy to share your Newsfeed via (optional):

    1. RSS link

    2. XML link

  13. Click Ok

 


 

Accessing, Editing, or Deleting Your Newsfeed

 

  1. Select the Content drop-down in the left-hand navigation bar

  2. Select Newsfeeds

  3. Hover over the Newsfeed you want to edit or delete

  4. Click the kebab menu

  5. Select between the following

    1. Show Links: Load the Feed Links

    2. Moderate: Update the content displayed within the feed

    3. Edit: Adjust all settings within the feed

    4. Delete: Delete the Newsfeed

 


 

Removing an Article from Your Newsfeed

 

  1. Click the Content drop-down in the left-hand navigation bar

  2. Select Newsfeeds

  3. Via the checkbox, select the Newsfeed

  4. Select Moderate

  5. Via the content stream on the righthand side, find the article that needs to be removed.

  6. Deselect the item via the checkbox

  7. The content will be removed from the Newsfeed when you reload the URL.
