Mission 2:

Steps to complete your mission

Alerts help you monitor key events, trends, and mentions, so your team is proactive rather than reactive. By keeping you informed in real time, alerts let you seize opportunities, mitigate crises, and strengthen your overall strategy.

  1. Make sure you have a saved Explore search.
  2. Select Alerts from the left-hand navigation bar, or follow this in-app guided tour.
  3. Select Create Alert.
  4. Follow the how-to guide to learn about every alert option available.

2. Set up your daily digest

A daily digest emails you a recap of all the coverage from the day. Here's how to set one up:

  1. Click this in-app guided tour, or follow the steps below.
  2. From Explore, open the saved search you want to use for your daily digest.
  3. Click the mail icon in the top right-hand corner.
  4. Select Create Digest.
  5. Configure your daily digest email:
    • Fill out the subject line of the email.
    • You can leave everything else as-is.
    • Click Save at the bottom of the window.

Every day at 8 a.m. you'll receive a recap of all the news about your brand or company from the previous day.

    Digest:
Digest is like an insightful morning newspaper, which provides an overview of a saved topic. It has date range, key metrics, AI Summary and top mentions. It can be consumed daily, and can have more than one saved searches.
We can select Explore saved searches of interest, number of articles per search, sort by (reach, social echo, engagement), number of articles per search, format (HTML or PDF), delivery days, delivery timing (can have 1 or 2 or 3 timings), and threshold.

    Alerts:
Alerts share real-time info about news, social media posts that cover our saved search directly on mail or Slack/Teams chat. We can create an Alert from a saved search. We ought to check Spike History to refine our keywords. Spike Detection is for monitoring crisis or launch or event. Every Mention can solve for same purposes, but it isn’t for general monitoring. Top Reach is for article, press release, announcement that we can share in the organization. Event Alerts do not require Explore search, keywords are enough.

    Monitor:
It helps us set up streamed views of our saved searches, filtered by Source type, country or tags. We can take action like adding tags in the monitor stream.
