You've built a search. You now have more coverage flowing in than you have time to read.

Ask a question in plain language, and Mira reads across your coverage and answers with sources attached. Executive briefs, sentiment shifts, competitor moves, journalist angles — the things that used to take an afternoon take a few minutes.

Complete your training

These resources will get you up to speed:

Mission

Pick a prompt, run it against your brand, and share what you learned.

Steps to complete your mission

1. Open Mira and pick a prompt

Open Mira Studio from the left-hand navigation and browse the Prompt Library. Pick one that matches a question you actually get asked.

Not sure where to start? Try one of these:

  • Summarize coverage of my brand over the last 30 days
  • What are the main themes in the conversation about my brand right now?
  • Which journalists have written about my brand most this quarter?

Step 2: Run the prompt

Add your brand name, or saved search,  and read the answer. Click into the linked sources to see what it’s built on.

Then run it again with more context. The first answer is rarely the best one:

  • Basic: Analyze sentiment around our brand.
  • Better: Analyze sentiment around [Brand] over the last 90 days. Give me the top positive themes, the top concerns, anything emerging I should watch, and what you’d recommend to my comms team.

The more context you give Mira — time frame, who the answer is for, what you’ll do with it — the more usable the response.

Step 3: Try Mira Companion

Mira Companion sits in the top-right corner of Meltwater and works right from the page you’re on.

  • On a dashboard widget: Click the Magic Wand for an instant breakdown of what’s driving the numbers. If the insight is useful, click Add AI Summary to Dashboard to add it to your report.
  • On a full dashboard or search: Open Companion and select Analyze Current Trends to surface patterns and changes across everything you’re viewing.

Step 4: Share a learning

Reply to this post with:

  1. Which prompt you ran
  2. One thing you learned from the results — anything surprising or anything you would have missed?

Tag a product expert to get their take: @Cris Rice  @Laura Stewart  @Luke Elworthy  or @Zach_Lepard

No need to share your data. Just the insight.

I missed the Mira workshop.  Can we watch it on demand for our community points?

Hey @Julie Murphy fear not, the Mira Workshop is coming up on October 19th, still plenty of time to attend live if you’d like!

You can register for that session here:

Once you’ve attended the Workshop or watched the recording you can find the Launch quiz for Mira Studio here:

Mira Companion is AI helper, and updates prompts depending on which page one is on.

Mira Studio is where one can create and generate reports, briefs, summaries like media brief or media summary or social media summary.

I ran two prompts for my search -

    My observations are -

    1. The first prompt had a list of themes of discussion. The second prompt provided a more detailed, metric-driven summary of the topic. For example, with second prompt I got this breakdown -

    Sentiment Overview
Over the past 30 days, the conversation around F1 2026 Singapore has been predominantly neutral, with a significant positive skew and minimal negative sentiment. Out of 1,171 analyzed mentions, 332 were positive, 799 neutral, and only 40 negative.

    2. When I used the second prompt, the themes segregated by positive and negative themes, and had an aspect of what drove the sentiment. For example, the following was one of the themes with the first prompt -

Fan Experience and Hospitality: Many posts and videos highlight the unique atmosphere of the Singapore Grand Prix, especially the night race setting, exclusive hospitality suites, and the city’s transformation during race week. The electric ambiance, luxury events, and accessibility for fans are recurring themes

When I used second prompt, it shed light on what drove the positive sentiment -

Hospitality and Lifestyle Offerings: Expanded hospitality suites, pop-up Michelin-starred restaurants, and new entertainment zones received positive feedback, enhancing the luxury and comfort of the event.
