Instagram connection

Hi there,

 

I can’t connect my IG account to MeltWater. Business account was already created, but still there is something wrong. Please look at the error screenshot and kindly guide me.

      Hi ​@Akio - Sorry you are experiencing this. 

       

      I don’t have enough information to guide you on what to do next, and I can’t tell from the screenshot what the issue is.  The best next step here is to email our support team at help@meltwater.com. They will be able to take a deeper look into what may be causing this.

      Some Tips:

      Instagram connections usually fail when one of these requirements isn’t met: your Instagram must be a Business Profile, it must be linked to a Facebook Page, and the Facebook user you log in with must be an admin of that Page (and have Business admin access in Meta Business Manager).

      If it’s already connected but not showing up, allow 24 to 48 hours for backfill, and check whether it needs a reconnect/renew (Instagram auth expires every 60 days).
