Created and saved a search

This is a search for a discrete project. Since creating it and following Laura’s advice, I have now created a Custom Filter to achieve the same results via our Brand saved search.

ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

## Key Findings

Across [**GrainCorp Forest Hill Silos Mural Project**](https://app.meltwater.com/a/explore/results?searchId=29233518), mentions rose from **1 in 15 Aug–13 Sep to 33 in 14 Sep–13 Oct 2026** (**+3,200%**). Activity was quiet until **25 Sep (4 mentions)**, then came in bursts, reaching **6 mentions on 13 Oct**; measured reach also increased to **2.73 million**, from **76,610** in the previous period.

## GrainCorp Forest Hill Silos Mural Project Insights

- **The artist announcement sparked the first clear burst.** Four mentions appeared on 25 Sep, when Council announced Jordan Bruce and Joel Fergie as the muralists. Council’s Instagram announcement drew **283 engagements**, while 7 Toowoomba also covered the appointment and the still-secret design ([Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdsFogxPBYG/); [7 Toowoomba](https://transition.meltwater.com/paywall/redirect/uGkjVdbNLtNPH28zoXCrqLxCcmw?keywords=Forest%20Hill,silos,Jordan%20Bruce,Joel%20Fergie&cid=c93578b121d857ccac35d778be8e3c91_76b91b151b892d92&productType=mira_companion)).

- **Late September and early October coverage followed on-the-ground progress.** There were **10 mentions from 28 Sep–2 Oct**—about **30%** of the period’s total—as coverage shifted to construction of the viewing precinct and preparation of the silos. Council’s update said precinct construction had passed halfway; a later post showed the artists on site preparing the silos ([Council’s Facebook update](https://www.facebook.com/128674850501905_1426709276225285); [River 94.9 FM](https://transition.meltwater.com/paywall/redirect/wYybVEqRkkILS4MG1aJtR5DnrHc?keywords=Forest%20Hill,silos&cid=c93578b121d857ccac35d778be8e3c91_8e62212ee08eb1d6&productType=mira_companion)).

- **The final week drove the largest volume and reach.** **17 mentions (52%)** landed from 7–13 Oct, including the period-high **6 on 13 Oct**. The Courier-Mail’s 13 Oct article had an estimated reach of **1.52 million**—about **56%** of total measured reach. Travel-oriented coverage also framed the mural as a reason to visit the region, including Australian Traveller’s feature on the mural and planned viewing precinct ([The Courier-Mail](https://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/gatton/forest-hill-graincorp-silos-to-be-transformed-in-185m-public-art-project/news-story/02bf4f825bdbea9a33beaca93dd7fabe); [Australian Traveller](https://www.australiantraveller.com/qld/lockyer-valley-murals-trail/); [InDaily Queensland](https://www.indailyqld.com.au/inreview/commentary/2026/10/13/from-storage-to-stardom-silo-art-reaches-new-heights)).

- **Sentiment was mostly neutral or positive, with one specific concern.** Of 33 mentions, **23 (70%)** were neutral, **9 (27%)** positive, and **1 (3%)** negative. The negative item was a single Facebook reply questioning whether the mural would be visible from Forest Hill itself; it had **1 engagement**, so it is a narrow concern rather than a broader pattern ([Facebook reply](http://www.facebook.com/1435205785375634)).

## Recommendations

- **Keep the progress updates coming.** Continue short, visual updates as painting advances and at key milestones; Council’s announcement and painting-progress posts drew strong interaction. Next, share the next visible change and direct people to the project information page.

- **Build on the travel-media interest.** Prepare a concise media update for regional and travel outlets with verified completion timing, viewing-precinct access and visitor information. The October coverage already linked the mural to the Lockyer Valley’s visitor appeal.

- **Clarify the visitor viewpoint.** Publish a brief FAQ or map explaining where the mural can be viewed and how to reach the precinct, addressing the specific visibility question without overstating how widespread the concern is.

Thanks for joining today @nwilliamson! This is great - I hope that the custom categories will you save you some time rather than rebuilding searches for different topics.

I love the Use Case section of our Boolean Library, this has helpful prebuilt boolean strings that work very well in a Custom Category

Is this context from the Analysis and Recommendations from Mira Companion? This is another great workflow hack that you have shared with the group - you can copy and paste Mira Companion’s analysis directly in to email round ups and reports

I’m glad it was helpful @Julie Murphy - the boolean guide above has some pre built booleans but the AI Search Assistant is linked directly in Custom Categories so you can have AI build some of these too.
