Launch Mission 3: Build a Dashboard

Your work isn't visible until you show it.

You're tracking coverage every day — but to everyone outside your team, that effort is invisible until it's in a format they can actually look at. A dashboard turns your monitoring search into a clear picture of impact: how much coverage you earned, where it landed, who saw it, and how sentiment moved.

It also answers the questions you get asked most:

  • Did our campaign land, and where?
  • How do we compare to our competitors?
  • Which outlets and journalists cover us most?
  • Is sentiment moving in the right direction?

Build it once and it keeps working. Because your dashboard is connected to your saved search, it updates itself — so next month's report is already waiting instead of being rebuilt from scratch.

Mission

Steps to complete your mission

1. Build your dashboard

Watch how to create a presentation-ready report about your brand's earned media coverage.

2. Share or export your report

When you're happy with the report, click Share in the top right-hand corner. From there you can download it as a PDF, PowerPoint, or Google Slides — or share the link so colleagues can view the report in their browser.

3. Share it in Community

Post your work to get feedback from our product experts and your peers.

  1. Start a post in Launch Pad — click here.
  2. Add a line or two on what you built.
  3. Share a web link or PDF of your dashboard report, or a screenshot of the dashboard you created. You can even tag in your favorite product expert (@Cris Rice@Laura Stewart@Luke Elworthy or @Zach_Lepard) to get their eyes on it.

Blur out any information you don't want to share.

👀 Once you've posted, see what your peers have shared.

🎉 You've now earned 175 Community Points.
