Meltwater Reporting: Understanding the Different Options (Reports App) Part 3
Good morning, mCommunity!
Today, we’re wrapping up our reporting series with the Reports App.
In addition to Dashboard Templates, Meltwater also offers two variations of Insight Reports as well as Digest and Dashboard Reports.
Insight Reports are an add-on that lets you create boardroom ready reports in just minutes. Whether you need a report for stakeholder meetings or regular updates, these reports are designed to fit your schedule and reporting needs.
Each report features AI-powered slides, differentiating them from the Analyze Dashboard Templates, which you can easily customize to tailor your message and highlight the most relevant insights.:
The two different Insight Reports are:
- PR Insight Reports (new): This version analyzes your brand using AI-powered slides. While you can add competitors to this report, each slide will remain focused on your brand.
- Comparative Report: This report also includes AI-powered slides but no longer focuses on the concept of your brand alone. Instead, it compares a number of different inputs against each other. Your brand can, of course, be included, but other good use cases for this report are comparing multiple products or multiple competitors.
We recommend using the PR Insight Reports if you’re reporting on a regular campaign or issue over time, like monthly or quarterly. If you’re looking for the same AI-powered insights but want to compare multiple inputs against one another, use PR Comparative Reports. That said, both versions offer customized reporting in just a few clicks.
Key insights that are included in these reports and not in your Dashboard Templates are:
- Highlights are AI generated during the build out of your report and don’t need to be manually added.
- mScore: Developed by Meltwater, mScore is a unique measurement tool that tracks and evaluates your brand’s perception over time.
- mScore Position: This slide visually represents how different levels of sentiment vs. exposure can impact the mScore.
- Key Messages: These words or phrases are cross-referenced with the selected searches to determine the frequency of each mention.
- Theme Analysis: Get a clear breakdown of the top themes related to your brand. Using AI, we analyze high-reach articles to identify and spotlight the most prominent topics surrounding your brand.
- Key Message Penetration: Visualize the impact of your brand's key messages across high-reach articles. Enter up to three key messages to assess how effectively they are communicated and highlighted in your media coverage.
- Table of Contents: Give your presentation an organized overview by adding an auto-generated Table of Contents. This is based on the summary panel titles of the slides included in your report.
Lastly, found in the Reports App are Digest and Dashboard Reports. These are automated reports sent directly to your email to keep you up to speed on your created Explore Searches or Analyze Dashboards. We recommend making both of these reports and adjusting the frequency as needed to ensure you don’t miss a beat regarding your mentions and analytics.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this three part series - let us know which reporting option(s) you use in your day to day in the comments below!
