Instagram Reels data is now automatically included within Instagram results within Explore for Social Listening. This includes monitored accounts, competitors, hashtags, and owned connections (owned only for clients with Engage or standalone social analytics). Owned connections also included comments and replies on Reels.
Love to see this. I know there’s been a lot of changes on the app this year, how confident are you that this data will remain available? How regularly is this revisited/discussed with Meta? Is there a back fill or is it only from today-on? Know they’ve been strict about that in the past, but maybe that’s changed.

Meta announced it was introducing the Reels API to Instagram on June 27th, 2022. Since this is a brand new API from Instagram, Reels data is available on a go-forward basis, starting July 6th, 2022.
That being said, Meta is investing heavily into Reels, and we expect this data to stay.
